When Pigs Fly – Swine Flu

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

This is my attitude about swine flu.  It is just not going to fly, take hold, or become a pandemic.  Holding to the spiritual law that thought creates, my thoughts are not going to create a swine flu pandemic, and I am doing everything I can to keep my immune system strong.

What does the world gain by the retelling of the fear-based story?  Nothing good comes out of perpetuating a fear-based vision of the world. In times like this, it is a good idea to avoid reading or watching the news.  Many of the discordant thoughts and energies that people have, come from reading the news and buying into the fear and judgment put forth by the media.

President Bush once said that “Two million Americans would die as a result of the bird flu.”  Thankfully, it didn’t happen. As the creators of your own reality, you can make sure that this current so-called “pandemic” does not become a reality.  It all starts with your thoughts and actions.  You are in control.

Those of you who have had a healing session with me or read spiritual books have heard of the importance of keeping your thoughts positive because thought creates. Any thought is like a ripple in a pond that goes out in all directions affecting more individuals than you can possibly imagine.

You certainly don’t want to spread a negative thought.  When you catch yourself in a negative thought, simply say, “Cancel. Clear.”  This lets the Universe know that you recognize that this is not what you want to spread out into the world.

Switching your thoughts to prayer or to an attitude of gratitude can also send more positive energies forth.Using a prayer to assist you with clearing dense energies that may have triggered negative thoughts can also help put you back on track with a more positive outlook on life.

While you are switching from fear-based thoughts to positive thoughts, you should also be working on keeping your immune system strong.  If you are doing all you can to keep your immune system strong, the chances of your being part of a pandemic are nil.

I have mentioned in previous newsletters some things you can do regularly to build up your immunity to disease. Here they are again:

·       Keep Yourself Grounded. Stress weakens the immune system and so by doing a frequent grounding exercise,

you are able to run off your stress.     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0mfrg8s_Ms

·       Keep Yourself Brain Balanced so that you are able to think clearly when making decision.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GElyrmHR6q8

·       Keep Your Body More Alkaline by putting a few drops of lemon in your water.  It is believed  disease cannot        flourish in a body that is alkaline balanced.

·       Get Out in the Sunshine. Vitamin D is a benefit you receive from mild sun exposure. Research has shown that it may be better than the flu vaccine.  Vitamin D also helps to protect the lungs from infection. A Vitamin D rich cod liver oil supplement also helps your immune system.

·       Get Plenty of Rest.

·       Wash Your Hands Often.

·       Stay in the Moment and just breathe deeply for a few minutes now and then.

·       Exercise to Move Your Lymph.

·       Eat a Diet Free of Contaminants.

·       Stay Away From Sugar because it can decrease the function of your immune system.

·       Consider Using Supplements like Astragalus, Garlic or occasional zinc gluconate.

·       Have Regular Energy Healing Sessions. Illness begins in your energy field so keeping your field clear prevents disease from manifesting in the body.

The next time you hear the words:  “swine flu,” think to yourself, “When Pig Fly,” and say to yourself:
“Cancel! Clear!  My thoughts are positive and my immune system is strong.”

Baggage? History? Diamonds?

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

What you surround yourself with, even what you have stored away, has an impact on you at the energetic level.  Some of the things you surround yourself with are Baggage, some are History, and some are Diamonds.  These terms reflect the relative impact the objects have on your happiness and peace of mind.

Baggage represents items that have negative energy or negative memories attached to them.  History items have neutral energy and are often items that are functional and that you picked up to fulfill a need.  Diamonds are objects that awe or inspire you by their beauty or just bring a smile and/or a happy memory.

Let’s start with the most energetically neutral items – the ones I call History.  These are the functional items that you acquired to fill a need as you go through your life.  You needed a dresser or a book case so you bought one.  It may not be the exact style you would have liked at the time but you can always replace it later with something that suits you.

On the other hand, Baggage items trigger negative memories or have some sort of emotional strings attached.  They may have great monetary value or they may be junk.

Maybe you inherited it from Aunt Harriet but you don’t like it.  You may hold onto it out of a sense of obligation or just because you feel it is too valuable to part with.

Maybe your ex-mother-in-law gave something to you, and it brings up negative thoughts of your ex-husband.  The more you revisit the negative in your life, the deeper the pathway is created in the brain until it becomes a trench that is hard to move your thoughts out of.

In addition, negative or down thoughts often lead you to subconsciously seek out things that make you feel better like eating sweets. Do you really want to revisit those negative thoughts?

Maybe you have an unfinished project that you just can’t get yourself to complete.   You need to make a decision to complete it or to let it go.  The knowledge that the project is perhaps even buried away in a closet impacts your sense of worth and happiness.

Let’s look at the Diamonds around you.  These are the items that radiate positive energy. When you see them, they thrill your heart with their beauty or craftsmanship.  They bring a smile or a happy memory.  They just feel right to have around, because they reflect your wants, needs, desires, and happy times.

We have a tradition in my house of purchasing an ornament for each family member that reflects something in their life from the past year. In this way the chore of decorating the Christmas tree becomes a pleasure as each ornament reflects a happy part of life.  The tree then becomes a joy to behold and radiates positive energy.

What I want to encourage you to do today and from now on is to remove the Baggage, the negative energy items in your surroundings and increase the Diamonds, the positive energy items.  You can donate the Baggage item, sell it or give it away secure in the knowledge that you are increasing the amount of positive energy in your life.

If you wish to bring more joy into your life and have your surroundings reflect the Source within you, then you deserve to be surrounded with more Diamonds and NO Baggage.  Spend time only with items that make you think about how wonderful each moment is.
