Body Talk: Command a Healing

Today I share with you some information about something that I know will help you improve your health.

Body Talk: Command a Healing

Do you talk to your body?  Your first response is probably “No,” but, actually, we all talk to our body on a daily basis.

Let’s look at what kinds of things you might be saying and then we can look at what might be really beneficial comments to make.

“Every time I eat ice cream, I gain 5 pounds.”

“My mother has diabetes. I’ll probably be a diabetic, too.”

“Accidents always happen to me!”

“With my luck, I’ll get the flu. Twice.”

“He’s a pain in the neck.”

Your thoughts, feelings, and words create your reality.  Often we are not consciously aware that we have been expressing something negative, but your body is aware and it’s listening.

Your organs and glands are sentient beings that feel and perceive. They hear what you say and assist you in creating your expressed reality.

Talking to your body, specifically addressing any diseased cells or organs, can have a positive effect.

The cellular memory of your body remembers how to be well.  Talk to it and command a return to wellness.  You can call on your defense mechanisms and your immune system to fight and defeat any illness.

Dr. Stew Bittman says that your body rebuilds 98% of itself in 3 months.  That means a “new you” is in many ways being created for you.  If you talked to your body several times each day, those “new” cells would know how you want them to behave.

Talk to them with emotion, like a parent, stern but loving.  Let your body know what you will allow or not allow in your pursuit of health. Take control with confidence, passion, words, and actions.

I am not advocating that you forgo consulting a physician or taking medication.  I am suggesting that you give your body some positive verbal support by consistently and repeatedly talking to it.

Talking is, of course, something you need to do out loud.  The vibration of your voice has a lasting effect that is far more powerful than just a thought.

Repetition is vital. I always recommend repeating what you say three times every time you speak a command to your body.  The first time you talk, the cells may think, “Oh, a passing thought.”  The second time you say it, the cells may think, “Oops, maybe I better pay attention.” Repeated the third time, the cells know exactly what to do.

I actually lost 35 pounds by repeatedly saying, “Body, every day we are losing weight little by little until we get down to a healthy weight for this body.” (I use the royal “we” because the cells in my body are all in this together.)  Now I am not saying that I ate large quantities of food and still lost weight, but I did not significantly alter my fairly decent eating habits nor my exercise routine.

I proclaimed out loud several times a day what I expected.  Maybe you want to say, “Body, dissolve fat cells so that we lose weight.”  Then visualize a thinner you.

If there is a diseased organ or gland, you can address it directly. “Thyroid, return to functioning according to God’s perfect blueprint.  I refuse to have a thyroid problem.”

Maybe you need to say, “I am free of diabetes.  Pancreas and all supporting organs return to optimal functioning.”

Try saying, “Any diseased cells or pathogens in my body are to leave now or die.”

For the flu season try saying,  “My body is strong and fights off any flu virus so that I stay well.”

Can you spend 5 minutes here or there throughout the day to talk to your body to achieve better health?

Use the time you spend preparing meals, stopped at a traffic light, while putting on makeup, or while in the shower to talk to your body.  If you have the desire for better health, then be the ruler of your body.

Your cells need to know your desired level of wellness.  Speak the truth of how healthy you want to be.  Your body is yours to command.  Start talking.
