Angel Heart

Angels are all around you, and you may even act as one for others on a regular basis.  When you speak or act from the heart, you are showing unconditional love for the individual regardless of who or what they are.  This is the act of an angel.

How often have you found yourself feeling better from the kindness expressed toward you when you are feeling down?  Maybe a kind word or different perspective helped shift you to a calmer or happier state of mind.  Perhaps a person encouraged you to pursue your goals or sat and listened when you needed to vent or mourn.  Maybe a person helped you when you were struggling. Or perhaps they were there to welcome a new family member, or pet.  Then again they may have just helped you celebrate your victories.  All of these are angelic acts that help us through this journey called life.

Perhaps you think these are the acts only of friends, but they can be the acts of mere acquaintances or perfect strangers.  Has someone ever shoveled the snow from your walk, held a door for you, assisted you with carrying a load of packages, or helped push your car?  Often these angelic acts were performed by someone seeing that you had a need and stepping in to be of assistance.

I recently read that the journey from the head to the heart is called “The 18-inch Journey.”  This acknowledges the distance from the head, where you recognize a need, to the heart, where you are led to act out of caring and compassion.

When acting as an angel you make this journey often throughout your day.  Maybe you were unaware of the difference that simple acts can make in the life of another.  Anytime you act as an angel you recognize the value in that person’s life and help to boost their self-esteem.  They may even have an “Ah ha” moment that influences the rest of their life.

Make every day one in which you let your Angel Heart lead you to soften the journey for another, letting them know they have value to contribute to the world.

Poof! You Are Healed!

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

When we are sick, we desire a quick fix, a miracle cure. While miracles do happen, for the majority of us they are not always there when we want them.
What is a body to do? How about considering some of the habitual behaviors and/or thought patterns that got you into this uncomfortable situation? If what you are thinking or doing is not serving you, then it is time for change.
You are in charge of your body, and therefore you may NOT abdicate responsibility for the resultant sad state of affairs. Since the body always follows your thoughts, the mind is the place to begin to create the health you desire.
From there it proceeds to your will power and passion to make your decision a reality through action. Some say that this information was left out of “The Secret,” but it was there. A thought without action and commitment is just a passing thought which will not manifest the good you desire.
If you don’t take into account the fact that it may have taken you a long time to develop a bad thought habit, you may expect to shift your thoughts instantly without struggle. Remember that you have a well-worn neuropathway that needs to be shifted and that doesn’t happen over night. You will be challenged and tempted often to go back on your decision to change.
However, don’t beat yourself up when a thought starts once again on that well worn- pathway of negativity. Just say: “Cancel. Clear.” This lets the Universe know that you recognize the thought as negative and do not choose to send that energy out for manifestation.
You also need to be able to call on some tools to help you. These tools can be friends to encourage you and keep you accountable, distractions to shift your thoughts to more pleasurable things or small rewards that you give yourself for sticking to your decision.
If you are determined to make changes in your life, set up a plan, set yourself a deadline, and decide on the tools that will best help you meet your goal.
Don’t forget that one of your tools should be gratitude for all that you have and all that you will receive.
In addition, an Energy Healing can assist you by removing emotional triggers, removing any negative energies from your field to help you shift your perceptions. You won’t find me saying, “Poof! You are Healed!” but you will find me supporting and facilitating your choice for a healthier life.

Sending Love and Light

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

I once saw a program on television about a woman who was in an automobile accident that had blocked traffic.  While out-of-body, she was very aware that many around her were angry and impatient with the delay.

She was also aware that one woman in the crowd was sending loving energy to help her.  This gave her the faith and strength to hold on until additional help arrived. When she recovered from her injuries she managed to track down the sender of loving energies and thanked her for her efforts.

This story helped me to recognize the amazing effect of loving energies.  I thought about how I might begin to send more loving energy to assist those in need.

Being of assistance to those in need is not just something that happens when I am doing my healing working but is an integral part of who I am.  Now I had a new way of helping others.

I thought of how many times the piercing sound of an ambulance, fire truck, or police siren penetrated my thoughts.  I knew that each time I heard those sounds, someone was in trouble, so I now send Love and Light to whoever needs those sirened vehicles.

That is not the only time when Love and Light may be helpful.  There are those who have lost a loved one or who may be suffering from a sudden handicap or a long term illness. Maybe someone is just having a bad day and could use some help.

You can send Love and Light to those in other cities, states, or countries that are experiencing difficulties.  You can send Love and Light to our Leaders who we hope are making enlightened decisions for the benefit of all.

Someone once said to me that sending Love and Light is an intrusion and that the person may not want any Love and Light.  This implies that what is sent is a manipulation, but Love and Light is only sent to offer whatever is in the best interest of the person involved.

All have the right to reject the offer whether it be at a conscious or subconscious level.  The same is true in any healing session.  The healee, and not the healer, is in charge and decides how much healing to accept or reject.

As you open your hearts this Valentine’s Day, please, remember there are many who can benefit from your Love and Light, not only on this day but every day.
