Animal Healing Pets need healing, too.

"Animals are such agreeable friends – they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms."

- George Eliot (1819 –1880), Mr. Gilfil’s Love Story, Scenes of a Clerical Life, 1857

Pets, like people, are energetic beings. Therefore, they too respond to energy healing approaches. Since most humans are unable to communicate with their pets we must use the animal's behavior as our clue that assistance is needed.

Indications that your pet may need healing assistance include:

  • Sudden onset of destructive behavior
  • Anxious behaviors
  • Excessive barking
  • Your pet has just undergone a medical procedure
  • Loss of appetite or interest in usual activities
  • Pet has been mistreated or traumatized
  • Sudden limping or other unusual physical behaviors
  • New residence
  • New or missing person in the house
  • Change in family routine
  • Symptoms unexplained by your vet
  • Serious illness or injury
  • Unusual areas of heat on the body

"We call them dumb animals, and so they are, for they cannot tell us how they feel, but they do not suffer less because they have no words."

- Anna Sewell (1820-1878), Black Beauty, 1877

Initially a request for healing comes in by phone or e-mail. Your pet will be asked if he/she agrees to the energy work so that their boundaries will not be intruded. Then an appointment would be made for a time when your pet and the house are quiet. At the appointed time, I make a connection to the animal to scan for places out of balance. Some pets are initially alarmed at the unusual sensation of the energy work. Later they settle down with the wonderful feeling that this is just what they want. Information comes to me from Spirit in many forms: I may see an image of an internal organ; I may hear an explanation of the problem; and/or the pet may also communicate with me. Some Spiritual Response Technique may also be done because many conditions have past life roots. Energy is channeled to clear the physical, mental, and emotional issues. Assistance for the work may come in from the Angelic, fairy, deva, or elemental realms. Most clients report that their pets are very calm during the work and move around or go to sleep when the work is done. All animals are very sensitive and respond quickly to the work being done. Most pet healings last for one hour.

Our pets have a major effect on our personal well being and we in turn have an effect on theirs. Pets respond to the energies and turmoil going on with the people that they live with. Just as we humans are affected by those around us, so too are our pets. Therefore, it may be advisable for the owner to also have a clearing done. In addition, this will help to clear up any disorders that the pet may have taken on for you due to their unconditional love for you.

Sometimes people call with a pet in crisis. If your pet has been ill for a while or has been in an accident, they may not have the will to continue. Healing of a pet does not always result in a cure. Healing for some animals may mean making a transition. If the pet permits, every effort will be made to heal them.

The fee for a pet healing, including pre and post consultations, is $75 per hour. Most pets only need one hour or less of healing energies.

"Animals are not brethren, they are not underlings;
they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time."

- Henry Beston
